I knew Embry said no to marrying Ash, but SEVEN years of going and forth? Yikes. The plot twists in this book, holy mother of chocolate.they just kept coming! First there were some small twists with Embry when they were soldiers, I didn't think that they had such a hard time.
Sure, a hostile, enemy country is one problem but when your own family and friends are turning against you in your own country.I tend to think that is a bigger problem than Mewlas. American Queen ended on a cliff hanger and I knew that somehow Ash and Embry would save Greer without a doubt, HOWEVER I did not expect what would happen in the rest of American Prince. I was very wrong and immediately fell in love with Greer, Ash and Embry's story and how they all connected to one another and fell in love. Overall thoughts: When I read American Queen, I didn't expect to love it so much and I most certainly didn't think that three people would be able to truly fall in love and truly love one another.
